Blooms for Bees Event | Ryton Organic Gardens
Posted on
On Sunday our founder Amber attended a free event hosted by Blooms for Bees in Coventry. The event was at Ryton Organic Gardens and in the morning there were talks by Steven Falk and Brigit Strawbridge, followed by a bee walk around the gardens with Steven in the afternoon. We thought we'd share a few photos from the day as there were SO many bees, it was incredible!
These photos were all taken in the morning/early afternoon before the bee walk. There's so many beautiful flowers of all kinds in the gardens and we'd definitely recommend paying a visit if you're in the area (Coventry). On the Bee Walk with Steven we spotted 20 types of bees including bumblebees bombus terrestris, bombus locurum, bombus lapidarius, bombus pascuorum, apis mellifera (honey bee), and solitary bees like andrena minutula and andrena bicolor.
We hope you enjoy our photos from the day! To learn more about Blooms for Bees you can visit their website and also download their app which is now available so you can monitor bee activity in your garden!
